MackiMakes Art Studio started the summer of 2022. Using the little community room at the Nose Creek Valley Museum, Mackenzie hosted the studio's first set of summer art camps. Mackenzie saw a need from parents and students for more following the summer and strived to offer Airdrie with new programs and create an Art hub. Mackenzie hosted classes in the museum and many other locations before finding the perfect space to develop the Art Studio. 

Building her career from the ground up, Mackenzie found herself with the opportunity to host classes on the Shepherds' acreage in their families little farm house. In 2023 MackiMakes Art Studio officially began hosting regular art classes, programs and summer camps in its new studio space.
