These immersive day camps are perfect for young artists eager to explore their creativity, make new friends, and enjoy the sunny days of summer. Each camp offers a unique blend of art lessons, fun activities, outdoor play, team building, and games. Here’s a sneak peek at what we have planned:
Camp Warhol: July 8-12
Step into the world of pop art with Camp Warhol! Campers will dive into bold colors and iconic imagery, creating vibrant masterpieces inspired by Andy Warhol. Expect exciting screen-printing activities, abstract portraits, and creative collages. In between art sessions, we'll have outdoor play and team-building games to keep the energy high and spirits bright.
Camp Matisse: July 29 to August 2
Discover the joy of cut-outs and color with Camp Matisse! This week, kids will explore the expressive and colorful works of Henri Matisse. They’ll learn to craft beautiful paper cut-outs, paint vivid canvases, and create their own unique pieces. Outdoor play and cooperative games will round out the days, making for a perfect blend of art and fun.
Camp Blair: August 19-23
Join us for Camp Blair, where whimsy and colour come to life! Inspired by the vibrant and imaginative art style of Mary Blair, campers will create enchanting works that explore playful shapes, bold colours, and dynamic compositions. From designing magical landscapes to crafting storybook characters, children will bring their creativity to new heights. Our days will also include outdoor activities and team-building exercises, ensuring a perfect blend of artistic exploration and fun.
Camp O'Keefe: August 26-30
Embrace the beauty of nature with Camp O’Keefe, inspired by the stunning works of Georgia O’Keefe. Campers will explore floral and landscape painting, capturing the essence of the natural world on canvas. Our days will be filled with creative projects, outdoor exploration, and games that celebrate the great outdoors and artistic expression.
Each camp runs from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, providing a full week of artistic adventure and fun. We are passionate about nurturing creativity and ensuring every camper has an unforgettable experience.
Half-Day Camps for Ages 3-6 & Ages 7-10
In addition to our full-day camps, we are excited to offer single half-day camps designed for our youngest artists, ages 3-6. These half-day sessions include 2-3 art lessons in various mediums, lunchtime, games, sensory activities, team building, and outdoor play in our beautiful Forests and Meadows.
Miss Mackenzie leads these sessions with a hands-on approach to teaching, emphasizing learning by doing and self-exploration. We advocate for everyone's participation and kindness in our classroom, ensuring a supportive and inclusive environment for all.
Creative Minds Summer Day Camps for Ages 7-10
For children ages 7-10, we present Creative Minds Summer Day Camps. These single-day camps run from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM and are perfect for young artists who want to dive deep into their creative pursuits. Each day is packed with art lessons in various mediums, fun games, team-building activities, and outdoor play, ensuring a full day of creative exploration and enjoyment.
