As this school year comes to an end we have all been reflecting on the years accomplishments!
The amount of progress I've made this year in my art, English and publishing skills is astounding! Even outside of the academy I managed to accomplish some of my bigger goals!
I published my first book, danced my first competition solo and presented some big presentations to my school and Rocky View. The academy has given me many huge opportunities this year and taught me so much!
I am on the road to publishing my first children's book and have gained a ton of confidence in my teaching skills!
Being a main spokesperson to the academy and presenting to large/ important groups of people I am excited to one day teach and inspire classes of my own.
Walking into the academy every day I was always excited for what was our next project and I cannot wait to begin back in the fall with the academy again. This year I learned that Graphic design and drawing on photoshop is something I really love! I also learned that just because I'm 15 does not mean that should stop me from doing what I want to do.
The year overall was amazing and I'm glad I grabbed at this opportunity last year! Our teachers worked so hard for this program to work and I appreciate their efforts immensely! As I head into my summer break I will be looking out for agents to help publish my book and advertise at my local library all about it!
